my career
I am an internationally renowned German Gastroenterologist. Following my graduation from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, I successfully completed my residency in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Pforzheim Hospital, an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Heidelberg. Serving as a senior consultant for gastroenterology at Pforzheim Hospital for several years, I accumulated a wealth of experience before embarking on a new chapter in Abu Dhabi, where I currently practice as a consultant gastroenterologist.

With expertise spanning over 10,000 procedures, I specialize in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ensuring comprehensive care and precision in each medical intervention.
Publications
I have authored more than 50 papers published in prestigious German and international Journals, including pioneering research on anticoagulants and antiplatelet therapy in gastrointestinal endoscopy. I furthermore sit on the editorial board of several medical journals and serve as an ad hoc reviewer of several other peer-reviewed journals including Langenbeck, ‘s Archives of Surgery, the European Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the International Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer
